Credo was always going to be a fast turnaround film with a small crew and limited locations restricted by budget - initially slated to shoot HDV.

However, From the first week of pre-production things started to change as through Digital Praxis' association with Axis Films based at Shepperton Studios an agreement was reached whereby Axis Hire and sister company Axis Post would become production partners, with Axis Hire providing the shoot with a Panasonic VariCam HD camera, including full production package with Canon Hi Def Cine Style lenses - and the addition of specialised lenses as and when required - combined with full picture post production at their brand new state-of-the-art post-production facility - Axis Post, in which Digital Praxis' Steve Shaw is a partner.
This offer was based on Steve's previous association with Alto Films - and on the strength of the script - combined with Axis Films desire to help up-coming talent with the digital cinematography and DI post-production resources at its disposal. Hopefully this will prove to be a successful business approach, with a selection of promising films supported in this way each year.

What did amaze was the quality of the images captured.
Steve Shaw supervised the project throughout, and was the lead colourist during DI post-production.
For more information on the project see the full story in the Digital Praxis Credo Press Release, as well as in the Credo website, the Axis Films website, and the Alto Films website.
